What is your resting heart rate? I'm trying to calculate what heart rate I should up my cardio again, and am really surprised at the resting heart rate I keep getting. I'm going to take my heart rate before I start my treadmill workout today and see if I'm just doing something wrong... but it's only 42-48! Am I in that great of shape?! How can I be when I'm still so overweight?!

2)What has worked for you in the past to lose weight? restricting and fasting and lots of exercise
3)What's your biggest problem with dieting/exercise/diet pills? (in other words, why isn't that working for you right now?)uhh. i tend to give in to foods and there is no one there to say "wtf are you eating that for you fat ass" kind of thing
4)Why do you think you are fat?uh because i am 5'6'' and currently i weight 163lbs and used to weight 182.
5)What is your goal weight?eventually 120
6)Why are you failing at weight loss?when i break my fast or eat too much. doesn't happen very often but i need to stay in control.

I'm not fat just about 15 pounds over my ideal weight. Since late December. I weigh 120 average
2)What has worked for you in the past to lose weight? Curves, diabetic diet
3)What's your biggest problem with dieting/exercise/diet pills? (in other words, why isn't that working for you right now?)
nothing really. I just want quicker results.
4)Why do you think you are fat? I have a dimpled butt and upper thighs.
5)What is your goal weight? 105.
6)Why are you failing at weight loss? I don't have anyone to answer to.

just postin my little quiz thing..

1)How long have you been fat? for about 3 years since I moved out of my hometown
2)What has worked for you in the past to lose weight? I tried the weightwatchers program when i gained it all that one year, and I lost 20lbs on it but then I plateaud (sp?) and gained it all back..
3)What's your biggest problem with dieting/exercise/diet pills? (in other words, why isn't that working for you right now?) I can't commit to eating healthy, and then I get too lazy when everyone around me is eating something I want
4)Why do you think you are fat? Because I really am
5)What is your goal weight? 145-150.. im 180 now..
6)Why are you failing at weight loss? I can't quit drinking sugar + caffeine

- fat camp, fad diets, the master cleanse

- well the master cleanse is working, i've just started yoga and pilates, and i'm going to start xenedrine on the 20th (i found this community doing a search for xenedrine)

4)Why do you think you are fat?
- cuz i'm a lazy pig

5)What is your goal weight?
- 125

6)Why are you failing at weight loss?
- i'm not

Um, I'm joining this community for weight loss support, but the questions seem like this is a place only for people who are failing, I hope it's not!!

Oh, forever. Since I was about 16, and that's about 25 years.

2)What has worked for you in the past to lose weight?
Walking up hills.

3)What's your biggest problem with dieting/exercise/diet pills? (in other words, why isn't that working for you right now?)
(1) Calorie-cutting diets don't work, and (2) lack of willpower (or wont-power)

4)Why do you think you are fat?
A large part of the reason why I'm fat is because of the many calorie-cutting diets I tried - I never lost a lot on any of them, and the fat comes right back and brings its buddies along too. Plus, I eat too much chocolate and sugary stuff.

5)What is your goal weight?
I want to be able to walk into a normal women's clothing shop and buy something that fits and looks good. No specific goal weight - I don't believe in standing on scales.

6)Why are you failing at weight loss?
See question 3 - lack of willpower and won't-power.

Now, is anyone reading this?

I hope no one minds that I joined. There's not a lot of people so it made me happy.

Anyway. Onto the qvestions.

1)How long have you been fat? Well. I am 16 now, and I was pretty much average weight until about eight-ish.
2)What has worked for you in the past to lose weight? Starvation, purging and exercise. 
3)What's your biggest problem with dieting/exercise/diet pills? (in other words, why isn't that working for you right now?) I have a few good days, don't lose much and then break my good cycle.
4)Why do you think you are fat? Skinny people don't have this many stretch marks. ;D
5)What is your goal weight? 160-ish. I have no problem being chubby. Hell, i don't want to be a stick. I just don't want to be a size 16.
6)Why are you failing at weight loss? I'm weak?

I've been on a crash diet for just over a week and I've lost 6-10 lbs. (I weigh in the morning and night, and figure my weight is the average of the two. One day it was 226 in the morning but 220 at night, so meh. It's so depressing to wake up and start your day with big flashing letters that say "You're repulisve!") I've been restricting to 800-1000 calories a day, but once I start to lose weight I'll taper that up a bit. I fear I'll screw with my metabolism too much. Eh. I'm not too worried.

I got two cavities filled today so i'm all numbed up and have no desire to eat. :D

Right now working so much that I eat out a lot and do not exercise as much.

It is in my Genes and eating out and not exercising enough

about 200

Diet and not enough free time
